Liability for content

I have created the content of my website with the utmost care and to the best of my knowledge. However, I cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the pages and content provided. As a service provider, I am responsible for my own content on these pages in accordance with § 7 para. 1 TMG (German Telemedia Act) and general laws. However, according to §§ 8 to 10 TMG, I am not obliged as a service provider to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information in accordance with general laws remain unaffected by this. However, liability in this regard is only possible from the time of knowledge of a specific legal violation. As soon as I become aware of such legal violations, I will remove the relevant content and links immediately.

Liability for links

My website contains links to external websites of third parties over whose content I have no influence. For this reason, I cannot accept any liability for this content. The respective provider or operator of the linked pages is always responsible for their content. I checked the linked pages for possible legal violations at the time of linking. No illegal content was apparent at that time. However, permanent monitoring of the content of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of a violation of the law. As soon as I become aware of any violations, I will remove such links immediately.

Copyright

The content, works, and information published on my website are subject to German copyright law. The reproduction, editing, distribution, and any kind of use outside the limits of copyright law require the written consent of the respective author or creator. Downloads and copies of this site are only permitted for private, non-commercial use. Insofar as the content on this site was not created by me, the copyrights of third parties are respected. In particular, I identify third-party content as such. Should you nevertheless become aware of a copyright infringement, please notify me accordingly. As soon as I become aware of any infringements, I will remove such content immediately.

PRIVACY POLICY

I am delighted that you are visiting my website. The protection and security of your personal information when using my website is very important to me. I would therefore like to take this opportunity to inform you about the personal data I collect when you visit my website and the purposes for which it is used. This privacy policy applies to my website, which can be found at the domain dieseelenjuristin.de.

Who am I and how can you contact me?

Responsible person

I am responsible for the processing of personal data within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Caroline Kronenberger

Falkstraße 58

What is this about?

This privacy policy meets the legal requirements for transparency in the processing of personal data. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as name, age, address, telephone number, date of birth, email address, IP address, or user behavior when visiting a website. Information that I cannot link to your person, e.g., through anonymization, is not personal data.

The processing of personal data (e.g., collection, retrieval, use, storage, or transmission) always requires a legal basis and a defined purpose. I delete stored personal data as soon as the purpose of the processing has been achieved and there are no legitimate reasons for further storage. In the individual processing operations, I will inform you about the specific storage periods or criteria for storage. Irrespective of this, I store your personal data in individual cases for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims and in the event of statutory retention obligations.

Who receives my data?

I only pass on your personal data that I process on my website to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes and is covered by the legal basis (e.g., consent or protection of legitimate interests) in individual cases.

In addition, I will disclose personal data to third parties in individual cases if this serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims. Possible recipients may include law enforcement authorities, lawyers, auditors, or courts.

If I use service providers to operate my website who process personal data on my behalf within the scope of order processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR, these recipients may also be recipients of your personal data. You can find more detailed information on this in the overview of the individual processing operations.

Do I use cookies?

Cookies are small text files that I send to the browser of your end device and store there when you visit my website. Alternatively, information can also be stored in the local storage of your browser. Some functions of my website cannot be offered without the use of cookies or local storage (technically necessary cookies). Other cookies enable me to perform analyses so that, for example, I can recognize the browser you are using when you visit again and transmit various information (non-necessary cookies).

Cookies enable me to make my website more user-friendly and effective, for example by tracking your use of my website or determining your preferred settings (e.g., country and language settings). If third parties process information via cookies, this is done directly via your browser. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device. They cannot execute programs and do not contain viruses.

I will inform you about the respective services for which I use cookies in the individual processing operations. Detailed information about the cookies used can be found in the cookie settings (footer).

What are your rights?

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

- Information pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR: I will inform you about the data stored about you, including details of the processing, and provide you with a copy of your data.

- Rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR: You can have incorrect or incomplete data stored by me corrected.

- Erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR: You can request that I erase your data, unless the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation, for exercising the right of freedom of expression, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

- Restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR: You may request that I restrict the processing of your data, e.g. if you dispute the accuracy of the data.

- Data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR: You have the right to receive your data in a machine-readable format or to have it transferred directly to another controller.

- Objection pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR: You may object to the processing of your data if there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation.

- Revocation pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR: You may revoke your consent at any time.

- Complaint pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR: If you believe that the processing of your data violates the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

How is your data processed in detail?

Below, I provide information about the individual processing operations, the scope and purpose of data processing, the legal basis, and the respective storage period. There is no automated decision-making in individual cases, including profiling.

Provision of the website

When you visit and use my website, I collect personal data that your browser automatically transmits to my server:

- IP address of the requesting computer

- Date and time of access

- Name and URL of the file accessed

- Website from which access is made (referrer URL)

- Browser used, operating system if applicable, and name of the access provider

My website is hosted by a service provider who processes the aforementioned data on my behalf in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Purpose and legal basis

The processing serves my legitimate interest in providing the website and ensuring its security and stability (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). There is no right to object due to the exception under Art. 21 (1) GDPR.

Storage period

The data is stored for a maximum of 35 days beyond the display of the website and for technical reasons.

Comment function in the blog

If you use the comment function on my website, I collect your name, email address, comment/message and store this data together with your IP address and the date.

When using the comment function, your personal data will not be passed on to other recipients.

Purpose and legal basis

Your personal data is processed for the purpose of commenting on content on our website on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can declare your revocation in accordance with Art. 7 (3) GDPR at any time with future effect by sending an informal message [Delete your comments]. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide your data, but it is not possible to use the comment function without disclosing your data.

Storage period

I store your personal data until you revoke your consent, and for technical reasons for a maximum of 7 days beyond that.

Presence on social media platforms

I operate fan pages, accounts, or channels on social networks to provide information and offers there and to offer another way to contact me. Here I explain what data is processed in connection with the use of my social media presences.

Data that I process from you

If you wish to contact me via Messenger or direct message on the respective social network, we will generally process your username that you use to contact me and, if necessary, store any other data you provide to the extent necessary to process/respond to your request.

The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 f) GDPR (processing is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of the controller).

(Static) usage data that I receive

I receive statistics about our accounts that are automatically provided via Insights features. The statistics include, among other things, the total number of page views, likes, information on page activity and post interactions, reach, video views, and information on the proportion of men/women among our fans/followers.

The statistics only contain aggregated data that cannot be traced back to individual persons. They are not identifiable to us in this regard.

What data social networks process about you

You do not need to be a member of the respective social network to view the content of our fan pages or accounts, and no user account for the respective social network is required.

Please note, however, that when you visit the respective social network, social networks also collect and store data from website visitors without a user account (e.g., technical data to display the website to you) and use cookies and similar technologies, over which we have no influence. Details can be found in the privacy policies of the respective social network (see the corresponding links above).

If you want to interact with the content on our fan pages/accounts, e.g., comment on, share, or like our posts/contributions and/or contact us via messenger functions, you must first register with the respective social network and provide personal data.

I have no influence on the data processing by social networks in the context of your use. To the best of our knowledge, your data is stored and processed in particular in connection with the provision of the services of the respective social network and, furthermore, for the analysis of usage behavior (using cookies, pixels/web beacons, and similar technologies) on the basis of which advertising based on your interests is displayed both within and outside the respective social network. It cannot be ruled out that your data may also be stored by social networks outside the EU/EEA and passed on to third parties.

Information on the exact scope and purposes of the processing of your personal data, the storage period/deletion, and guidelines on the use of cookies and similar technologies in the context of registration and use of social networks can be found in the privacy policies/cookie guidelines of the social networks. There you will also find information about your rights and options for objection.

We cannot draw any conclusions about individual users from the statistical information transmitted. We only use this information to respond to the interests of our users and to continuously improve our online presence and ensure its quality.

I collect your data via our fan page solely for the purpose of enabling communication and interaction with me. This collection generally includes your name, message content, comment content, and the profile information you have made “publicly” available.

Only the social network provider is authorized to access your data in full. For this reason, only the provider can directly take and implement appropriate measures to fulfill your user rights (request for information, request for deletion, objection, etc.). The most effective way to assert your rights is therefore directly with the respective provider.

I am jointly responsible with Instagram for the personal content of the fan page. Data subject rights can be asserted with Facebook Ireland and with us.

The primary responsibility for processing Insights data lies with Instagram in accordance with the GDPR, and Instagram fulfills all obligations under the GDPR with regard to the processing of Insights data. Facebook Ireland provides the essence of the Page Insights supplement to the data subjects.

I do not make any decisions regarding the processing of Insights data and all other information arising from Art. 13 GDPR, including the legal basis, identity of the controller, and storage period of cookies on user devices.
