Hello everyone,
I’m Caroline Kronenberger – a full-time yogi, lawyer, office manager, coach, podcaster, artist, and probably much more. One of my favorite sayings is, “Diversity is a virtue.” Why? Because for a long time, I saw my boundless curiosity as a weakness – a kind of inability to make decisions or a lack of focus. But today, I view it as a gift. Diversity means staying open to the new and unknown, looking beyond the horizon, and continuously adopting new perspectives. It’s about leaving the familiar behind and discovering new things with curiosity. This realization has shaped my vision.
I dream of a world of jurisprudence guided by both heart and mind. Is it possible for the law to be influenced by empathy and kindness? During my law studies, I discovered my passion for yoga early on. It helped me stay grounded, and my curiosity led me from the Western perspective of yoga as merely exercise to the deep, fascinating philosophies of yoga. This path opened doors to other wisdoms and philosophies. At some point, I wondered why these values and ideas shouldn’t also be applied within the legal context.
During our studies, we are trained to look for errors in the external world, focusing on external perspectives. But how can we practice our profession consciously, mindfully, and healthily if we lose ourselves in the process? The field of law is often marked by stress, burnout, depression, and anxiety. The façade inevitably crumbles sooner or later. I believe we need healthy lawyers – in business, politics, and beyond. But we can only walk this path if we start looking inward. As a soul lawyer, I help you do just that. Whether through coaching or changing your firm’s culture, the path to transformation always begins with ourselves.
Especially as lawyers, we should recognize that diversity is a virtue. It’s about recognizing the diversity within ourselves – the beauty and uniqueness of our own individuality – and seeing this in our clients as well. Diversity in thought and action enriches our work and our lives, and it is a crucial component of an empathetic and effective legal practice.
Stay curious and open to the diversity of life.
Warm regards,
Your Soul Lawyer, Caroline
